The things people can do and the extent they can go to pull someone down! Haha. I guess no one will ever know the extent. Very recently, we had Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff on top of the Google search rankings and for all the wrong reasons possible. This was because of a video she shared on Instagram Stories a while back, which was later taken down.
She shared pictures of her kids and one thing that didn’t go unnoticed was that her 8-year old son Luca Cruz was laying down nude in the video, but she did cover up certain body parts later. So, that’s what sparked defamatory allegations against the actress, of her being involved in sex trafficking. Outrageous!
The 32-year old actress finally decided to take to Twitter to speak out against these allegations (of which there is absolutely no evidence). She said, “Everyone bored af right now I know..but this is actually disgusting….. Whoever dreamed this one up and put this garbage into the universe should take a break from their damn phone. Maybe get a hobby.” See here:

While the video was deleted, a Twitter user managed to get a clip of Duff later covering up her son with a sticker:

The Younger actress’ representative sent out a statement against these allegations as well, saying, “Let me say this in the strongest terms, this is all a fabricated disgusting internet lie, created and perpetuated by trolls and idiots. Hilary’s own post this morning is all that needs to be said on the matter. Everyone who knows Hilary is fully aware what an amazing mom she is and that requires no further comment. If only people with this much time on their hands used their energy to solve real problems in the world.”
I’m guessing Hilary is right when she said that people are probably just bored at home for them to be coming out with such absurd allegations over a single video on social media. However, like they say, no publicity is bad publicity. Duff has been trending on the internet over the past 24 hours and it will continue considering she spoke out just a couple of hours back.
