For the longest time, Arnab Goswami was widely regarded as one of the best television news anchors of all-time. Now however, this statement has become very debatable. From the highs he reached a Times Now to the lows of Republic TV, he’s still always in the news but these days, it’s more for bad reasons than good.
Earlier known for launching all out attacks on criminals and those who considered themselves above the law, Arnab has now become a clear puppet for a particular political party in the country. No longer does he stand for right but rather stands where his bread is being buttered. Very recently, he decided to launch an attack on popular Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan.
Now the nation knows Salman is among the most loved stars, so you need to get your facts right before you come for him. Instead, Arnab decided to launch baseless allegations on the actor recently on his Hindi news channel, Republic Bharat. He accused Salman of being silent over multiple matters, including drug mafia matters and including the deaths of Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput.

He yelled out at Salman and asked why he was quiet on these matters. He asked where Salman Khan was hiding (in Hindi) and why he’s not given a single statement on these matters. He asked which city and which country Salman is hiding in. He mentioned that Sallu is known for reading out Bigg Boss scrips well but can’t say a single word on these more important matters. Twitter didn’t take to this too well and multiple hashtags against Arnab started trending on Twitter. In fact, he was termed ‘deranged’ and ‘psychotic’ and a ‘liar’ and ‘hypocrite’ and several other negative terms by Twitterati. People went far enough to dig out old interviews of Arnab with Salman, where the former has clearly mentioned what a big fan he is of Salman Khan. Now, he’s decided to openly challenge the actor. Wow!
