Bigg Boss 12 Captaincy Task Cancelled

For those of you who have been following the Bigg Boss 12 season either on television or via any other medium, you would know what happened yesterday, where housemates took part in the ‘Hitman’ task which would help them get their luxury budget. We wrote about it here, as Shivashish Mishra and Romil Chaudhary emerged victorious and became contenders for the captaincy task.

Yesterday’s episode (15th November) was all about the captaincy task and for the first time in the Bigg Boss 12 season, this task stood cancelled, plainly because of bad behaviour by the housemates. The captaincy task was called ‘TRP’ and the housemates had to entertain the audience, but that didn’t go right, ending up in pure misconduct.

Once the task began, it was divided into three rounds – Chat Show, Dance and Infotainment. The captaincy contenders were allowed to choose one more housemate, Shivashish chose Surbhi and Romil chose Srishty and depending on how long the other housemates watched each channel, a winner would be declared. A remote was provided to switch channels when needed.

As usual, the Bigg Boss 12 housemates managed to make a huge issue out of something very small and they ended up breaking the remote while trying to snatch it from one another. This lead to Bigg Boss losing his temper and calling off the task altogether. However, a new captaincy task was soon announced.

Here, the housemates had to torture the captaincy contenders who were seated at the garden area and do whatever needed to make them get off their seat. Garbage, powder, eggs and plenty of other items were used to get rid of the players and finally, Shivashish stood up, and Romil was announced as the new captain of the house.
