Bestseller Ending Explained – It’s always a battle between the top OTT platforms to see who’s producing the best content and as of now, we must say that Amazon Prime Video is doing a brilliant job. Just a week or so ago, we spoke about one of the latest movies released on this platform, Gehraiyaan, and now we’re here with an original web series which is slowly catching up with viewers across the country.

Here’s a story about an author and much like there are chapters in a book, the web series is broken up into eight chapters (episodes) where you will certainly feel the characters talk to you and connect with you. It’s not your usual show with twists and turns galore but it’s a good story, one which you may feel you know how it will end, but will keep you on the edge of your seats nonetheless – Bestseller.

We won’t dive too deep into this Amazon Prime Video’s Bestseller review, because we’re here mostly to explain to you the ending of the series. However, a quick sneak peek into the show and it’s an 8/10 for us which we’d recommend you to watch. The star cast is enough to get your attention with Shruti Haasan starring as one of the lead negative roles while Gauahar Khan is a big name and so is Mithun Chakraborty.

The story is that of an author (Arjun Bajwa) who is looking for a second story as a sequel to his first bestseller which was over a decade ago. And just as he finds one and things are looking up, his past comes to haunt him as it turns out his first story was stolen. And the person who he stole it from is dead, and his son and daughter are in Mumbai, looking to take revenge. And they’re willing to stoop to any level for that!

Bestseller – Ending Explained

In case you’re unaware, the Bestseller release date is 18 Feb 2022 and since we’re done with the show, we’re going to explain to you about the Bestseller ending. The bottom line is that Adya and Gaurav (earlier introduced as Meetu Mathur and Parth Acharya) completed their plan of getting revenge against the author Tahir Wazir. Towards the end, Adya was able to frame him for murder.

She went to meet him in the parking lot and revealed that she’s not Meetu but actually Adya Jaisingh. By then, Tahir was already aware of this. She made him sit in the car and drive to a location where a crime was possible and sent her location to her brother (who was with the police). The two of them made it look like she was abducted and by the time the police reached the location, she flipped the scene.

She ensured he was out of the car and lit the car on fire, while quietly replacing the person in the passenger seat with a dead body she had brought along with her earlier. To make it look more believable, she placed the wedding ring he gave her on the corpse’s finger. When the police found the body and the post mortem was complete, it was revealed the person died of a hit to the head before dying of burns.

The police (led by Mithun) immediately arrested Tahir and he was charged of murder, which makes their plan of ruining him successful. It was later revealed that Gaurav was released by the police and he and sister went back to Rajasi. The end scene however shows Mithun chilling before a wall with pinned stats and images, like he was planning his own revenge story, which we’re likely to see in Bestseller 2.
