Recently in the spotlight for his role in Disney+ Hotstar’s Moon Knight, actor American Oscar Isaac is enjoying a good time in his career of late. And while we’ve been waiting for a new episode to launch every week, there’s more reason for him to be in the spotlight as he appeared at the Met Gala 2022 along with his wife, Elvira Lind.
The Met Gala every year sees hundreds and thousands of memes for the different outfits and costumes we see being worn by actors, businessmen, singers, and other celebrities that are invited. This year, the 2022 Met Gala was hosted on 2nd May and once again, there has been no shortage of entertainment with respect to what’s been worn by those present.
Met Gala 2022 – Oscar Isaac wears dress!
The Moon Knight actor decided to show up to the event in a dress while his wife was seen sporting a suit and pant, somewhat reversing the roles between the couple. His black tailored dress stood out on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, while his filmmaker wife pulled off the suit and pant like a boss.
Both husband and wife wore outfits designed by Thom Browne and these two served both couple goals as well as fashion goals at the 2022 Met Gala. The theme of this year’s function was ‘Gilded Glamour’ and the two rocked their looked, gaining a lot of attention at the venue and also across the world through social media.

“Okay so your telling me that Oscar Isaac is wearing a goddamn dress and his wife a suit and they’re just gorgeous,” wrote one fan on Twitter while another person tweeted with caption, “Oscar Isaac my man looks so fine #MetGala2022.” Truly, he did look fine in his gender neutral costume and he is likely to remain a talking point right through the next few days as well.
The duo wasn’t the only couple at the 2022 Met Gala as Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds were present doing hosting duties while Kim Kardashian was also in attendance with her boyfriend and comedian Pete Davidson. Kim was seen wearing the most expensive dress sold in an auction which she picked up for $4.8 million!
