One such brand is leading multinational educational technology company called BYJU’s. Founded in 2011 by Byju Raveendran, the brand hired Shah Rukh as their ambassador a few years ago but amidst this Aryan Khan controversy, they’ve decided to cool down on their promotions involving the superstar actor, maybe believing it could cause negative publicity for the brand.

After Aryan’s arrest, SRK has obviously received a lot of flak on news channels and social media and BYJU’s is probably aware of the same too. They’ve come under fire on social media of late and have decided to ‘temporarily’ pull down all brand endorsements involving Shah Ruk Khan. SRK is obviously the face of many other brands including Hyundai, LG, Dubai Tourism, ICICI, and Reliance Jio.

However, BYJU’s is one of SRK’s biggest endorsements in a deal that is aid to be paying him around Rs. 3-4 Crore annually for promoting the Ed-tech platform. SRK has been with them since 2017 and we’re not sure if this is going to be a temporary stop or end of their association altogether. The brand is now the biggest startup in India, valued at around $18.5 billion.
