Finally, that time has come and after all the waiting of millions of cricket and Bollywood fans across the world, the couple has delivered a healthy baby, with the social media announcement coming in just a few minutes ago.
It was a cute little Instagram post by both of them when they had to announce the news of their pregnancy. And they decided to do the same when the baby was born. Virat used his social media as the medium of announcement, with a small note for his followers. “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon,” it included.

Virat Kohli was in Australia for an ODI series and T20 series and then only played 1 out of 4 games of the Test series before coming back to India on paternity leave. It would’ve been a particularly special day for him as earlier in the day, India fought hard to save the 3rd Test in Sydney. As for Anushka Sharma, she’s been keeping herself busy over the weeks and has been regularly posting updates on her social media. No one will forget her yoga positions being practiced with her baby bump, nor the Vogue magazine photoshoot she did!

Their marriage was one of the high profile ones of India among the Priyanka-Nick and Ranveer-Deepika ones. Similarly, this baby will go on to become one of the biggest celebrity babies in the years to come.
