Hindi biographical historical drama film ‘Sardar Udham‘ recently released on Amazon Prime and the movie is currently getting a lot of hype and attention on social media. Based on the life of Udham Singh, revolutionary Indian freedom fighter, the movie has Vicky Kaushal and Banita Sandhu starring and has been very well received in just a couple of days since its release.
The Sardar Udham release date was 16 October 2021 and it currently has a 9.2 rating on IMDb, which is way above the average of Indian films. Recently, actor Vicky Kaushal took to social media to release a picture of some prosthetic scars on his back which he sported for the film, and that picture has gone viral.

The rather realistic-looking scars were a part of his look for the film and he posted the picture to his Instagram account with caption ‘cuts that didn’t make the cut. #SardarUdham @pgorshenin’ The account tagged was prosthetic make-up artist Peter Gorshenin, who is probably responsible for this artistic makeup on Kaushal.
“Cuts by @pgorshenin,” was one of the hundreds of comments that came in, this one by Sardar Udham director, Shoojit Sircar. Quite a few others also commented while there were quite a few jokes involved as well. One user joked about how it’s fake or else Instagram would mark it as sensitive content. Another user joked about how Katrina Kaif would feel sad seeing these scars on him.
The movie has been doing well and the team at Read Scoops may head over to Amazon Prime this week to watch it ourselves.
