It’s true when they say that 2020 hasn’t been a great year for anyone. From bushfires to coronavirus to the deaths of many talented celebrities, we’ve seen it all in this year and we’re still not even halfway into the year so far. A couple of hours back, we got news of another Bollywood actor passing away.
Being known mostly for his role as Amar Chaudhary in Salman Khan’s movie ‘Ready’, 26-year old Mohit Baghel recently passed away after a fight with cancer. He began his career doing comedy on the show Chote Miyan and the news was confirmed today by writer and director of Comedy Circus and Comedy Nights With Kapil, Raaj Shaandilyaa.

Raj had signed Mohit for his upcoming film and the latter considered Raaj as his mentor, working with him since he was a child artist in Comedy Circus. Born on 7 June 1993 in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, Raaj was a couple of weeks away from his 27th birthday when he passed away in his hometown in UP itself.
Apart from acting in Ready, Mohit also acted in Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra’s Jabariya Jodi and this news comes as a shocker to many in the industry. If you remember well, it was only recently that two legendary Bollywood actors passed away in quick succession, one being Rishi Kapoor and one being India’s Hollywood face, Irrfan Khan.
Quite a few actors who have worked with Mohit have taken to Twitter to express their grief and pay tribute to him. For similar timely updates from the Bollywood world, remember to always stay tuned to ReadScoops.com.
