For weeks, gaming lovers and enthusiasts were waiting for this day. Last night, we had the live stream of the Sony PS5 Games Launch Event wherein more than two dozen games were announced and revealed, that will come to the PlayStation 5 console in the near future. At the end of the live stream, Sony event gave us a sneak peek into the Ps5 hardware.
Apart from a few other surprises, they decided to show us what the console and other components will look like and I must say, no one was disappointed. When I last checked, there were 2+ million people watching the pre-recorded live stream and PS5 also launched a first-time ‘Digital Edition’ along with the usual gaming console. Here’s a look at the entire Ps5 family:
The entire stream was about the games that will be coming to Ps5 in the months to follow but Sony had a surprise for us all as they decided to reveal the look of the Ps5 family in the last 2 minutes before concluding the stream. From left to right, we have the DualSense controller, Sony PS5, PS5 ‘Digital Edition’, Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, Media Remote, DualSense Charging Station and an HD camera, the camera also being a new addition.

We’re used to seeing matte black in the PlayStation consoles over the years and Sony gave us a pleasant surprise with this new Blue + White variant, and it seems to be the only colour options available right now. In terms of the look, it seems like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, with a futuristic model that we’re sure everyone across the world is appreciating right now.
More specifications of the products will be launched at a later date like pricing as well. Immediately after the event, quite a few speculations began about the design and many users on social media felt that there was too much exposed to dust on the new console. We hope that Sony will work on this before the official console launch too.
