We’re posting a Technology Scoop after ages and we couldn’t have imagined a better way to resume posting here – it’s the official launch event of the Sony PlayStation 5 games! Every few years, gamers across the world are in anticipation for another model to release and the wait ends tonight, as Sony is set to release the PS5 which is very aptly called ‘The Future of Gaming’.
The Sony PS5 Launch Event 2020 is set to run for a little over an hour and it’s finally here after an initial delay because of the widespread anti-racism protests happening across the USA. The games digital launch begins at 1:30am IST on 12th June and will be a trailer to when the console actually releases later this year during the holiday season.

You’re at the wrong place if you’re expecting a sneak peek into game-play because this launch is primarily going to be for a few gaming titles that are launching exclusively for the PS5. Sony will be live-streaming the event in 1080p resolution at 30 fps, which isn’t the best but it’s ideal considering most employees and developers are working from home because of the pandemic.
Talking about the pandemic, this is actually the best time for gamers as we all get the chance to pull out consoles that we have been ignoring for a while due to hectic work schedules. 1:30am IST: It takes us all back to our younger days when we used to play the first and second models of the Sony PlayStation. We’ve come a long way and so has this brand, which has been a part of our lives over the years. From PlayStation 1 in 1994 to PlayStation 5 in 2020, it has been quite a journey! 1:40am IST: One game which has been on every PlayStation console till date is Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and the show began with a video of an expanded and enhanced version of GTA V for PS5 and some added benefits to all owners of GTA 5 and PS5.
