Once upon a time, BlackBerry had managed to capture the entire smartphone market across the globe and was proving to be a huge thorn in the side of Apple. However, it’s sad to say that this phase didn’t last too long and it wasn’t much time before BlackBerry was completely swiped off the market.
However, their last chance of survival was launching Android operation system smartphones and one of their latest launches last year was the BlackBerry Key2, decently priced with a 4.5 inch screen and 13 Mega Pixel rear camera. Now however, we’ve heard news of a special ‘Red Edition’ Key2 set to hit the market.
Well, unlike the iPhones, this colour change isn’t only coming with a new paint job, but it comes with a massive 128 GB storage space, which is double the standard Key2 phone. Further, it comes with a tweaked UI (User Interface) and modernized versions of its native apps. If you were unsure of the Key2 all this time, the Key2 Red Edition could certainly make you change your mind. GO FOR IT!
As the image clearly shows, the red colour is not just on the front, but along the sides as well. While there isn’t any specific launch date for the Red Edition Key2, it is said to be soon available in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia, at a starting prize of around € 780 (~INR 62,700) and $749 (~INR 53,000) in USA. A special edition set of red BlackBerry earbuds could also be a part of your package.

You can now pre-order the handset on the BlackBerry website and it is said that the company will start shipping out orders from 8th March 2019 onwards. The company launched KeyONE in 2018 and this year, at the 2019 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Spain, which is scheduled between 25-28 February, they have launched the Key2 Red Edition.
