Complete Women’s Vitality Blast Winners List

There have been multiple women’s domestic competitions being played out in England over the years. There was the Women’s T20 County tournament as well, along with List A competitions being played among different regional sides. Recently launched was the Women’s T20 Blast also known as the Women’s Vitality Blast for sponsorship reasons, with the first edition announced for 2025.

The Women’s Regional T20 tournament was renamed to the Charlotte Edwards Cup between 2021 to 2024, and this is the successor to that tournament. Hosted and run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), a total of 18 county teams are to play in the competition, including two different categories – 8 teams from League 1 and 10 teams from League 2.

In the first game itself, the 200-run barrier was broken by Hampshire Women. In the Charlotte Edwards Cup, Emma Lamb, Holly Armitage, and Kathryn Bryce were the top run scorers, being the only three to get 700+ runs during those four seasons. With the ball, Katie Levick was heads and shoulders above the rest, with 43 wickets between 2021-2024.

These players are likely to be in the limelight again in the Women’s T20 Blast over time, while we won’t be surprised if we see a few individual centuries as well. There’s so much to look forward to and it’s only the first season of the tournament. Stay tuned for real-time updates as and when there are new champions announced in the Women’s Vitality Blast.
