Another player who has been short of big scores in recent months is Akshdeep Nath but his last season was brilliant and with IPL experience too now, I’ll have him in my fantasy team. Batsman Samarth Singh is set to lead the side.
The bowling attack will be led by Ankit Rajpoot and Shivam Mavi, both of who have IPL experience. Rajpoot picked up two consecutive 3-fers in the recent Duleep Trophy while Mavi has been plagued with injuries. However, he did well last season and is fit and ready now. Both these players should be a part of your fantasy team.
Baroda
All-rounder Krunal Pandya led Baroda to Ranji Trophy victory last season and he has been named captain of the side once again. He is my fantasy team captain while his brother Hardik Pandya will miss out on the tournament. Wicket-keeper batsman Kedar Devdhar brings a lot of experience to the fore and he also makes my fantasy team today.
Aditya Waghmode is another person you can add to your Nostragamus (sign-up with “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy picks, as he had a great Ranji season for Baroda last season. Another couple of players who have a lot of IPL and other tournament experience are Deepak Hooda and Yusuf Pathan. With the ball, Rishi Arothe is worth picking as he was among the wickets in the 2019 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
