First game today at the new venue Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium, Lucknow. This is the first time Pro Kabaddi League has reached Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Popular singer Gippy Gerwal, Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar and Lucknow Central team was in the house to support the local team UP Yoddha along with UP fans.
The first game of the day was played between the home team UP Yoddha and 2nd season champions U Mumba. A very fascinating first half was played between Yoddhas and Mumba boys, Rishank Devadiga once Mumba teammate was playing in rival team and did very well to put his team in lead at the end of first half (15 – 12)
Second half was a very paced game where both side were scoring in every minute of the game. U Mumba 2 star raider Shabeer Bappu was on fire and every time his friend Rishank scored for UP, Shabeer use to counter it by scoring for Mumba. In the end it was U Mumba who managed a close a game and beat UP Yoddha in their home by 34 – 37.

The second game of the day was played between Zone A bottom team Jaipur Pink Panthers and Zone B top team Bengaluru Bulls. Bulls have been playing really well on the other hand Jaipur Pink Panthers just played 3 games before this match. A very slow first half with Jaipur Pink Panthers leading the game by 3 points.

Bulls played really well in the second half but the effort came in very late and in the end Jaipur Pink Panthers were just too good to defeat. The final score was 28 – 30 with Jasvir Singh completing his super 10 and Manjeet Chhillar scored 8 tackle points completing his Hi-5 of the game for Panthers.
Jasvir Singh is a very experienced player, he might look fit by physic but he can take away at least 3 defenders with him till the mid line:
