What a finish to Nagpur leg in Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2017. Two sensational games were played tonight and the team that kept their nerves till end won the game.
Tushar Patil the young lad from Maharashtra provided the required start for Jaipur Pink Panthers and Deepak Hooda in return put the score back to 1-1 in the initial few raids of the match. The score was almost level until two unsuccessful raid from Pune and Jasvir picking up two points in the last couple of minutes of the first half. The score at the end of the first half was 11 – 14.
An early set back (All out) for Puneri Paltan provided some boost to the Panthers as the score difference was 6 points. A super raid from Sandeep Narwal and a late support from Rohit Kumar Choudary help Pune to lower the gap but at the duo Manjeet Chhillar and Jasvir Singh manage to provide the first win for Panthers this season.

The second and the final game of the Nagpur leg was a south Indian Derby that was played between two South Indian teams, Bengaluru Bulls and Tamil Thalaivas. Sachin Tendulkar’s Thalaivas played two games prior to this game but didn’t win any.
K Prapanjan provided the initial breakthrough for Thalaivas but Rohit Kumar did – very well to keep the scoreboard leveled. The final score at the end of the first half was 8 – 12, Thalaivas leading with 4 points.
The second half started with All out and the Thalaivas took a 7 points lead that the manage to maintain till the end of the 40th minute of the game. From the Bulls captain Rohit Kumar was fighting like a lone ranger and on the other hand Thalaivas showed a perfect team game. K Prapanjan was the most successful raider for Tamil Thalaivas who scored 6 points.
