11th April 2020 UPDATE: Dream11 is yet to list down the Dream11 Premier League matches on their website.
For the last couple of weeks, Dream11 has stayed completely mum. While most of the smaller fantasy cricket brands hosted smaller cricket leagues and some companies even moving to e-sports and football, and basketball games, Dream11 left their cricket section completely blank. Not a single cricket game since 2 weeks!
Never in the history of Dream11 has this happened before but finally, they’ve broken their silence. 2 hours ago, they took to social media to make a massive announcement, that of the Dream11 Premier League. So if you’ve missed out on the fun, get ready for a whole lot of thrill and entertainment playing fantasy cricket games on India’s biggest platform, once again.
We knew they were quiet for a reason. We knew there was a massive surprise coming up soon, and here it was. They’ve announced 8 teams and 32 matches in the Dream11 Premier League, and the teams announced are Indian regional teams, so we’re suspecting it’ll be something very much like an IPL mock-up tournament. Read Scoops will be posting fantasy previews for all of these games.

If you’ve been missing the chance to win big playing fantasy cricket online, your wait has ended. We’re suspecting it could be a case of simulated AI vs AI action, because with the COVID-19 lockdown happening, there’s no chance of real cricketing action happening. The greatest minds think big and Dream11 is set to bring back some BIG leagues to their platform! See here:

They’re calling it the ‘biggest league’ and they’ve also mentioned that you can win big playing for FREE. The tweet was also headlined with ‘MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT’ so I won’t be surprised if they come out with leagues that have record prize pool attached to it. There’s no date mentioned but you can stay tuned to ReadScoops.com for all updates from the Indian fantasy sports industry.
