Royal Challengers Bangalore – never won a trophy in 17 editions of the Indian Premier League, but still the most popular franchise side in the tournament. From Zaheer Khan to Chris Gayle, all of the top Indian and international legends have played for RCB at one point of time or the other, right form inception in IPL 2008 to the most recent mega auction for IPL 2025.
We’ve put up a ridiculously long list of 223 players to have represented RCB from 2008 till date (updated before IPL 2025). Some of them have played matches for the team while others were purchased but didn’t get any game time. You’ll be surprised with some of the names in the list, so hurry up and let’s take a deep dive into this list of all RCB players of all-time.
Complete RCB players list 2025
The first RCB squad for IPL 2008 had 25 fresh players and the immediately next season of IPL 2009 had a lot of changes too, with as many as 23 new players being purchased which helped them reach the IPL 2009 final in South Africa. The original squad included Team India greats like Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, Wasim Jaffer, Zaheer Khan, and others.
Dravid and Kumble were actual Bangalore boys while as time passed, players from other states and even from abroad became loved as ‘RCB boys’. Who knew that many years later, a packed Chinnaswamy Stadium would be shouting ‘ABD, ABD, ABD, ABD,’ for South Africa’s AB de Villiers, treating him as one of the their own. They decided to go for another all-rounder in Krunal Pandya, who has a lot of experience in the Indian Premier League over the years. It’ll be interesting to see how he goes in RCB colours, as the team has lacked a quality spinner in recent seasons. Swastik Chikara is another name who has performed well in domestic cricket but is unlikely to get a game in IPL 2025 for now.

“I think he’s going to be, after Harry Brook, England’s NEXT SUPERSTAR ALL FORMAT PLAYER. I know him since 14 or 15 and I’ve seen a very little failure. He carries himself character wise” 🔥#RCB #IPL2025
