It’s official, folks!
After weeks of deliberations, the Neymar move to French club PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) has finally been completed. Earlier today, Neymar’s club FC Barcelona allowed him permission to commence discussions with PSG and we expected the move to be completed within a couple of days.
However, the transfer was completed much quicker than I would’ve thought. The Brazilian striker wanted to create a future out of the shadow of teammate Leo Messi so he didn’t take much time to make his decision of wanting to leave Barcelona.
However, club officials made it clear that the buyout clause will have to be paid if PSG want to sign the striker – shouldn’t be a problem, no? 😉
Lionel Messi took to Instagram to bid goodbye to the striker with whom he shared the dressing room for the last few seasons. Very well done on Messi’s part to have made this little tribute video with the caption:
“It was an enormous pleasure to have shared all these years with you friend @neymarjr I wish you luck in this new stage of your life. See you soon”
Now, we ask you readers to vote and tell us if you think Neymar has made the right career decision, by agreeing to leave Barcelona and move to PSG?
