Who doesn’t love Premier League mid-week action? Just last night, there were a line up of Tuesday games where we put up a fantasy preview of the Manchester United vs Burnley game. Even though we had the right players in place, the result wasn’t too much in our favour, with Burnley managing to score twice and the end result being 2-2 at full time.
Tonight, we have some more interesting match-ups coming your way and we decided to put up another preview for all you fantasy sports and Dream11 fans – Liverpool vs Leicester City. Of course, there has been no stopping Liverpool this season which makes us believe that they have a 75-80% chance of winning this one too. Regardless, you can keep reading for our fantasy preview…
Where, when, why
The game begins tonight at 1:30am IST and it will be taking place at Anfield Stadium, which is Liverpool’s home ground. They will want a win here tonight to keep Manchester City away and consolidate their position at the top. They were wary of Man City’s game against Newcastle last night, but a shocking result saw the latter winning 2-1. A boost for Liverpool FC, really.
Who’s missing the game – Don’t pick
Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain is still recovering from injury and even though he has begun light training with the Liverpool squad, he’s almost a month away from full fitness. Rhian Brewster and Joe Gomez are two others you can keep our of your fantasy league teams because of injuries. An otherwise popular pick, do remember that James Milner is out of this contest, being suspended for a game after receiving two yellow cards.
Be very careful with your picks for this game and only select those who are sure starters. Virgil van Dyk is out with illness and a decision will be taken prior to the game. Georginio Wijnaldum and Trent Alexander-Arnold will see similar fates while Fabinho is unsure of starting after walking off with an injury in the last game.
Leicester City FC are less burdened with injuries at the moment, with Daniel Amartey being the only one excluded due to injury. However, they are also sweating on the fitness of their best player, Harry Maguire. Vardy and Madisson are their two brilliant players and it’ll be good if you could squeeze them both in, given their high prices.
