Billionaire businessman and SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is always in the news. Whether it’s his controversial relationships or his strange tweets or even his father getting kids with his step-daughter, it’s always happening. Of course, he’s doing some brilliant work across his various companies and that also brings him in the limelight every now and then.
He has 103+ million followers on Twitter and he’s definitely one of the biggest influencers on this social media network. You’ll always find him talking about cryptocurrencies (which leads to big swings in prices) and now, he’s made another major claim as he’s tweeted say he’s buying Manchester United, one of the biggest football clubs in the world.
Elon Musk to buy Manchester United
It was only a couple of months ago that Musk was in between controversy with regards to his acquisition of Twitter itself. While the deal was almost sealed, he backed off and Twitter was all set to take legal action over him. With that still underway, Musk hasn’t shied away from what could be his next big business, showing his first real interest in this sport now.
While we’re not sure if this is 100% confirmed and talks are underway or whether it’s just another joke for Musk, you usually can’t tell with him. He was actually tweeting about politics and sharing his views, when he randomly replied to his own tweet saying he’s buying Manchester United. So, one can assume that this was said light-heartedly.
