In the last 3-4 years, online gaming has been booming around the world and especially in India with easy availability to data, smartphone penetration, higher disposable incomes and much more. Most of them either shut down or merged into multi-gaming smartphone applications, in order to stay alive in the competition.

And the latest update we heard today was that of another leading fantasy sports brand in FanFight merging into an all-in-one multi-gaming application.

However, they haven’t gone the route of creating their own app but have decided to merge with one of the leading online rummy websites in A23 (formerly Ace Two Three). This brand has been a leader in online rummy since years now and they’ve gone on to create a multi-gaming app called A23 Games, which is what Fanfight has been fused into. So yes, Fanfight is now going to be called A23 Games!
Fanfight sent out a mail to all its registered users collected over the years, informing them about this business merger. And now in the A23 Games app, users can find verticals like fantasy sports, rummy, carrom, pool, and many other forms of casual and mobile gaming. The email was sent with the app tagline being “It’s time to game up“.

That’s about it. They’re clearly not a team of too many words. No reasons for the change or anything. This is all that users were told. However, it doesn’t stop existing Fanfight users from playing fantasy sports. In fact, it encourages them to play the other games available on the A23 app as well.
