The ongoing 2021 India tour of England has been an entertaining one so far and in the 2nd Test at Lord’s, we saw a lot of moments that both teams won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Coming into Day 5, all three results were possible and eventually, India went on to win by 151 runs. However, the result is just one of many things that happened during the game.
We’re sure no one would’ve missed Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami’s antics with the bat or the constant peppering of short balls against James Anderson. A lot of verbal banter but a lot of fun, and we saw a game that tells us why Test cricket shouldn’t really go anywhere. In one particular moment, we saw the Indian captain Virat Kohli having a light moment at the Lord’s balcony.
We all know that Kohli loves the camera and the cameramen are always following him, to catch his different emotions and expressions. After the 1st innings, Kohli was spotted at the balcony doing what we all can imagine as a ‘Naagin Dance’. We’ve seen Kohli dancing many times on field in the past but this one at the home of cricket really tops the list.

Social media was soon buzzing with memes about the same. As cricket fans may already know, India has a long history with the Lord’s balcony. In was in 2002 when Sourav Ganguly, the then Indian captain, took off his jersey after winning in the Natwest ODI series final, and started hurling out abuses. This one from Kohli however was not an act of aggression, but a moment fans won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
