Getting to a triple-digit score or a century in cricket is a milestone but getting to a triple century (individual score of 300 or more) is rare and has been achieved only a handful number of times since the inception of Test cricket so many decades ago. Overall, it’s been scored 32 times in the history of the game, by a total of 28 different batsmen.
12 countries have played Test cricket so far and from them, there have been test triple hundreds from batters of 8 of these nations. The first batsman in the history of Test cricket to achieve a triple hundred was England’s Andy Sandham who did so against West Indies way back in April 1930. See below for our complete list of Test triple hundreds.

Since they were the first couple of countries to play Test cricket, the first five Test triple hundreds all came from batters of either England or Australia. This includes an entry into the Test cricket triple centuries list from legendary batsman Donald Bradman, who scored 334 and 304 in 1930 and 1934 respectively, becoming the first to get to multiple triple hundreds.
