Legendary Aussie leg-spinner Shane Warne recently found himself in a bit of a situation as reports coming in spoke about him having a minor motorbike accident. As per those reports, it’s said that Shane was out on a bike ride with his son Jackson when he lost control and he is said to have skid with the bike for a distance of over 15 meters.
Not a spring chicken anymore, the 52-year old went to the hospital with fears of having done damage to his foot and hip. However, all scans showed that there wasn’t any extensive damage done. “I’m a bit battered and bruised and very sore,” said Warne, who woke up the morning after the accident in a bit of pain.

There’s no reports of whether or not his son Jackson was injured in the accident, or whether he was riding on another motorbike altogether. Shane Warne is expected to be on air soon, being a part of the team doing the broadcasting duties for the upcoming Ashes 2021/22 series, which begins 8th December 2021 at The Gabba.
We believe he should be fine by then as he’s avoid any serious injuries from this accident. However, the former spinner needs to take it a bit easy and avoid putting himself in such situations now. He visited the hospital on Monday as a precautionary measure and is now on the road to recovery. He should be fine for the Ashes series, where Australia will be playing under a new captain, Pat Cummins.
