Inaugurated in 2019, the Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) has gone on to become an important fixture on the annual BCCI domestic cricket calendar. They have short and sweet schedules but that’s enough to show the country the kind of talent that Saurashtra possesses, with both and ball. Till date, three successful editions of SPL T20 have been hosted.
While we’ve seen some great performances and plenty records being broken in this tournament over time, we’re going to focus on some of the best batting performances in this competition till date. In particular, we’re going to be covering each and every Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) century scored in the history of this tournament. Keep reading for the complete list below…
The SPL 2019 edition was the first of this tournament’s history and unfortunately, no batsman went on to convert to get a 3-figure score. Rajdeep Darbar from Kutch Warriors came close to getting there and becoming the first Saurashtra Premier League centurion, with a score of 94*, but he missed out. And it wasn’t until three years late in SPL 2022 that the first century was scored.

Up and coming player from the region, Samarth Vyas scored the first ever SPL T20 century, in SPL 2022. He got only one 50+ score in the tournament and he went on to convert it to a century, smashing 102(59)* in that game. Getting an 80-odd score in SPL 2022, Tarang Gohel missed out earlier but he made an entry in the SPL T20 centuries list in 2023, smashing an unbeaten century for Sorath Lions against the Halar Heroes. Unfortunately though, Heroes won by 7 wickets which meant that Gohel’s century in SPL 2023 went in vain – the first time this happened in the Saurashtra Premier League.
