While all the eyes are on MS Dhoni and his team for lifting the IPL 2023 title, no one sees what has been happening with the fans and former cricketers behind the scenes. Former India and CSK cricketer Robin Uthappa was in the studio for the final moments of the IPL 2023 final and he was seen celebrating in a very unique way as well.
Only recently retired from the IPL, Uthappa had represented a number of IPL franchises and ended his career with CSK where he got a lot of backing towards the twilight of his career. He proved that he’s a CSK-ian even today as he was seen behind the scenes celebrating by lifting his son when the winning runs were hit by Ravindra Jadeja in the final over.

Everyone loves to play under MS Dhoni and with CSK, especially the elder cricketers who were recruited by CSK when most other T20 franchises weren’t interested in bagging them. Uthappa clearly has some amazing love for his former IPL franchise as he had some genuine emotions int he studio as he lifted up his son to celebrate the win in the studio. The number of emojis in his tweet speaks a lot about hsi excitement itself.

Brett Lee, Graeme Swann, Scott Styris and others were also in the studio for the final moments and none of them were more excited with the win for CSK. Scott Styris is also a former CSK player and he had his arms aloft just like Uthappa when Jadeja hit a boundary past short fine leg to secure CSK’s fifth IPL title.
