Last year, one of the much awaited cricket tournaments known as the Road Safety Series kicked off in India which was more or less like a retired players World Cup. Seeing some of the biggest stars of the game in action once again was every cricket fans delight but unfortunately, the tournament was called off just 4 games into the league due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This happened on 11 March 2020 when the outburst was fresh in India and after nearly a year away, the tournament is set to return and continue from where it left off last year. It’s the Road Safety Series 2021 and all games will be played at the newly built Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur, which has a capacity of 65,000 spectators!
