First game of his Abu Dhabi T10 stint today at big Oshane Thomas from the West Indies announced himself in style today for the Northern Warriors. In the final game of the day, it was Warriors vs Chennai Braves and prior to this game, both had lost all their four respective outings. But Thomas ensured he got his team their first victory of the 2021 Abu Dhabi T10!
He was bowling the second over of his spell when he bagged the key wicket of Mark Deyal. With Braves needing 20+ runs per over at the time, getting the final known big hitter would’ve been the final nail in the coffin for the run chase. He joined elite company as he becomes the fourth bowler to get a hat-trick in this competition, after Pravin Tambe, Shahid Afridi and Aamer Yamin!
He didn’t get any wicket in his first over and ended his spell with 3/21. In fact, it was a great comeback for him as his second over began with 11 runs off the first three balls, and the next three balls were W W W.
