England Lions departed on a tour of Australia a week or so ago and the overall tour consists of 5 ODIs against various Australia domestic sides, followed by 3 unofficial tests as well. So far, it’s been a good tour for the visitors having won the first 2 ODIs against Cricket Australia XI but sadly, the next couple of ODIs were abandoned without a ball being bowled.
They now face a stiffer challenge against New South Wales XI but one good point is that they can play fearless cricket since they’ve already pocketed the series. With weather an issue, there are chances this game could be affected as well, but we have our fingers crossed. In the all-rounders department, we have upcoming talented player Jason Sangha who scored 105 in an ACT 2nd XI game in October 2019, while he also bowls every now and then, so here’s a good chance to pick up fantasy points. Talking about all-rounders, we have Daniel Sams in the side and he could even be your fantasy side captain, coming off a great BBL season, ending as the top wicket-taker of the tournament.

Sam Hain is one of the upcoming English batsmen from the younger lot and his performances on this tour prove that. After scoring 28 in the first game against CA-XI, he smashed 122* in the 2nd ODI and he’s one to watch out for. Lewis Gregory will be leading the side and he’s one who can contribute with both bat and ball, so he’s a must have. He has 2 wickets and one score of 15 so far in 2 games this tour.
Talking about all-rounders, we also have Dan Lawrence who is also a contender to be the captain or vice-captain of your MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy team.
