Among the latest and youngest group of Indian cricketers comes a certain lanky pacer known as Navdeep Saini. While he has played a few international games for Team India, you’ll know him better for opening the bowling for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL over the last few seasons. The youngster was purchased by RCB for a yearly contract of Rs.3 Crore in the IPL!
Now we often know that youngsters do get carried away with all the fame and riches that comes their way so early in life. Earlier this year, Saini was in trouble in Australia for breaching the Covid bubble to go out for dinner and now, he’s come under a lot of criticism for a recent post on his Twitter account, featuring a brand new Harley Davidson bike.
Now a long history of Indian cricketers including Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni has often shown their love for cars and bikes over the years but Saini on the other hand, was based on social media for this post that saw him sitting shirtless on his new Harley bike. The caption of the video read, “Accompany me on my bike to feel the fear.”

The short 12-second video led to fans and followers questioning Saini’s behaviour. Quite a few Twitter users asked if this is the way we expect our national cricketers to be behaving?! Another user asked that someone from the environment team check out the post, because of causing high pollution levels.

A lot of users asked him to keep is head down and focus on his game rather than these ‘showing off’ posts. Overall, he got a lot of hate on the post and he’ll probably give a lot of thought before putting up his next tweet.
