It was a very successful Mzansi Super League 2018 which was the inaugural edition of the annual tournament last year. 6 franchise teams participated and from them, Jozi Stars emerged victorious last year, completing an easy chase against Cape Town Blitz in the final. Rassie van der Dussen topped the batting charts with 469 runs in 12 games while Duanne Olivier topped the wicket-takers charts with 20 wickets in 10 games, both representing the Stars itself.
The Mzansi Super League 2019 has 32 T20s scheduled to take place between 8 Nov – 16 Dec 2019; it promises to be yet another exciting season with a few transfers and many new signings at the Mzansi Super League auction. Betting
The defending champions Jozi Stars begin as joint favourites and why not? They have a strong squad but what’s surprising is that Tshwane Spartans are also joint favourites with them, both at odds of 4.50 to win the tournament. Spartans finished second last in MSL 2018.
