The moment is finally here – 100 TESTS for Virat Kohli
It’s not been an easy journey. He came in as a young and abrasive and brash cricketer but grew into a class player and an amazing individual. He’s broken countless of records on the way, while also becoming a role model for millions across the globe. The journey has been topsy turvy over the last few months with the loss of captaincy and other troubles, but Kohli is here to stay and will celebrate his 100th Test match.
To mark the occasion, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) allowed a 50% crowd capacity in the 1st Test against Sri Lanka, which is set to begin on 4th March in Mohali. All signs are pointing towards a good performance from the former captain and to celebrate with him, the BCCI also got lovely video congratulatory messages from former cricketers where they all talk about Virat’s journey so far.

The former maestro and the ‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar had the most lovely words to say about Kohli’s journey so far. He spoke less about his records but more about Kohli’s ability to learn and inspire future generations. He spoke about his massive contribution to Indian cricket. See here:
