Usually by this time of the year, the world s catching up on the Indian Premier League (IPL) fever and we would actually be just days away from the start of the 13th edition of the IPL. 2) MS Dhoni
Dhoni himself will be someone to watch out for in IPL 2020 because no one remembers what it feels like to have MSD in a cricket team anymore. It was July 2019 when he last played for India where he failed to get India past the line against New Zealand in the semi-final, despite having brought us so close. Amidst a lot of criticism, the former Indian captain has a lot to prove to the world, especially after IPL 2019 was his best-ever IPL season till date, ending as CSK’s top scorer with 416 runs in 15 games.
3) Shivam Dube
Royal Challengers Bangalore haven’t had a decent season in quite a few years now. In IPL 2019, this hard-hitting all-rounder was played 4 times where he only managed 40 runs and didn’t even get a single wicket. Since then, his under-performing continued as he went on to play for Team India, getting only 1 fifty and 5 wickets in 14 international games, but his confidence would’ve improved after so much of international experience. We suspect he could be the x-factor player for RCB in IPL 2020!
4) Ravi Bishnoi
The 19-year old leg spinner had the most fabulous tournament at the 2020 U-19 World Cup where he bagged 17 wickets in just 6 games including three 4-fers and one in the final too. His confident body language and the fact that he wasn’t wicketless in a single game showed that his contract of INR 2 Crore at the IPL 2020 Auction wasn’t an over-priced one. He can help Kings XI Punjab lift their first title and is going to be an exciting player to watch out for at the upcoming IPL tournament!
