I’m a big fan of selecting those with international experience first, that’s why Elton Chigumbura makes my side even though he has only 35 runs in 3 games, and has stopped bowling now too; he can be a game-changer on his day. All-rounder Tinotenda Mutombodzi has 3 wickets and 31 runs in 2 games so far and he will be a good pick because he also bagged a fifer against this team in December 2019.
Rangers
Though he has no great scores to his name in his career, Johnathan Campbell has made a decent start to this tournament with scores of 42 and 30 so far, and that’s why I’ll add him to my MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy team. To help him with the bat, there’s Brendan Taylor who has 52 runs in 2 games and he’s undoubtedly one f the most talented batsmen to have played for Zimbabwe.
With the ball, Charlton Tshuma managed a wicket in each game so far, and he’s literally been one of their only successful bowlers in 2 games so far. When he played this team in an FC game in December, he picked a 4-fer. Another bowler who bagged a wicket in each game so far is Manson Chikowero who had 5 wickets in two limited overs games prior to this tournament as well.
