Another tour for Team India Women and this time, they’re travelling to the Caribbean where they will play 3 ODIs and 5 T20s between 1-20 November 2019. The tour begins with the ODI series, where they play Windies Women at the same ground in Antigua throughout the series. India Women have been good in recent months and they begin the series as clear favourites.
As for Windies Women, they are coming off whitewashes against Australia and England both, in the ODI format and they will be desperate to get some wins under their belt. They have a few potential match-winners who have to click together if they want to win. Having the home advantage may give them a slight 5% edge over their opponents. Numbers

- Jhulan Goswami – 15 wickets in last 9 games for India Women.
Windies Women
Captain Stafanie Taylor has to be the best player in the side with five 4-fers in ODIs to go with five centuries as well. In two WBBL 2019 games this year, she scored 33 runs and picked 3 wickets for Strikers Women and she’s a good candidate for captain or vice-captain of your fantasy side. Another famous all-rounder Hayley Matthews will NOT play the first 2 ODIs, returning for the 3rd ODI after completing her 8-match ban.
Shemaine Campbelle and Chedean Nation return to the Windies squad and I’ll pick the latter as she had a few good scores this year, including 63* against Ireland W and then 42* against England W. With the ball, Afy Fletcher is a must have as she has 12 wickets in her last 10 international games and has gone wicketless in only one of those games. Middle order batter and occasional bowler Stacy-Ann King is a good pick too.
India Women
Since we begin with the ODI format, India’s captain will be Mithali Raj who is extremely experienced with 7 ODI centuries and in the recent series against South Africa, she had scores of 11*, 66 and 11. All-rounders are key and Deepti Sharma has 9 wickets in her last 7 games for India Women to go with a top score of 20. Harmanpreet Kaur has no great scores in her last 10 games but she can be pretty destructive too.
Jhulan Goswami is the most experienced in the Indian bowling attack but if I had to pick a less popular player in my Dotball (Sign-up and get Rs.51 FREE) fantasy team, it would be Poonam Yadav who has 13 wickets in her last 8 games and she hasn’t gone wicketless in even a single one of them. Shikha Pandey is another very good option with the ball and it’s an additional bonus that she can bat if required too.
