After a massive break, we’re finally back to having some cricketing action for fantasy sports lovers and we began with the 2020 Taipei T10 League, which was the first of its kind in the region. The tournament began on 25 April and we had three games being played back-to-back and a similar packed schedule is lined up for Day 2 as well. In Match 4, Taiwan Daredevils will return for their second game.
It wasn’t the best start for the Daredevils, losing to Hsinchu Titans in the opening game. They now play against TCA Indians, the latter beginning on a winning note after they ebat Hsinchu Titans in Match 2 of the tournament. It’s George Klopper captaining the side and he led by example in the last game, though they couldn’t get past the line. He top scored with 20 with the bat and then went on to pick up a wicket for 10 runs in 1.2 overs he bowled. Another good all-rounder pick for today could be Jeff Black who was super economical in his 2 overs and he bats up the order as well, though he only scored 2(3) in the last game at #3.
They picked 3 wickets in the last game and apart from Klopper and Black, it was Charles Hayward who bagged one wicket after a fabulous spell of 1/9 in 2 overs. He also bats at #5 and could be useful though he bagged a golden duck in the first game. Hein Nothnagel opened the innings for only 6(17) but he also bowled 2 overs for no wickets and 7 runs, which means he’s a good potential all-rounder.
TCA Indians
First pick from this team should be Amit Kumar Bedaka and I recommend you take him in your MyFab11 (use code “READAD46“) fantasy team because he was the MOM in the first game, scoring 14(13) and then picking 2/11 in his only over with the ball. His opening partner Vivek Hegde bagged a 2-ball duck but got 1/6 in one over with the ball, so he’s another potential all-round pick for your TDR vs TCI fantasy team.
It’s a 10-over game so you want to pick as many top order batters as possible. At #3 is Murugan Subramani who scored 7 with the bat and opened the innings with the ball, ending with figures of 0/18 in 2 overs in the last game. Right after him at #4 in the batting line-up is Neeraj Singh Patel who was run out for 7(10) in the last game but shared the new ball for 0/9 in 2 overs in that same first game.
