One person you can’t miss is captain Muhammad Kashif who led by example even though his efforts were in vain. Kashif picked 1/24 and scored 51 in their solitary game.
The Qatar wicket-keeper bats all the way at number 7 while Kuwait’s Usman Waheed seems like a better option in the middle order. Waheed scored 16 in his last game and will be my wicket-keeper pick. Another good all-round option in the team is #3 batsman Adnan Idrees who scored 12 in the first game and also bowled a couple of overs.
Qatar
Been with the team since its U-19 efforts, Tamoor Sajjad is captaining Qatar and he’s one player you want to choose for sure, since he’s sure to play and because he’s an all-rounder. Sajjad has 43 runs so far with a best of 34 while he has managed to pick up 3 wickets in his 2 outings so far.
While Pakistan’s Imam ul Haq has got himself into sexual allegations and issues, Inam ul Haq is a good choice with the bat here, with 51 runs in 2 games including one innings of 41.
