Another person who has experience of playing in countless leagues across the world is Anton Devcich who has managed only 2 wickets and 35 runs in 2 games. However, he can be a game changer on his day and is a good fantasy captain or vice-captain pick.
Ish Sodhi also has plenty of experience but he hasn’t been among the wickets in recent months. Talking about wickets, we have medium pacer Anurag Verma who impressed with a 3-fer against ENG XI recently and he is one for my fantasy team. Scott Kuggeleijn has international experience and while he hasn’t managed a wicket here yet, he picked 8 scalps in his last 3 List A games, so is worth picking.
Central Districts
Having picked 22 wickets in 7 Tests for New Zealand, left-arm orthodox spinner Ajaz Patel becomes a good pick for your Howzat (sign-up with code “READ1234”) fantasy team, especially since he’s picked a 3-fer in each game played so far. Another person who has been among the wickets is Kieran Noema-Barnett who has bagged 5 so far, and since he’s an all-rounder, he’s more important. He also has 60 runs in 2 games.
The side is being captained by Tom Bruce and he has been scoring runs for fun in recent months for Central Districts and also has scores of 56 and 38 so far in this season. Another consistent batsman in 2 games this season so far has been wicket-keeper Dane Cleaver who has 39 and 48 so far, also a cousin of Kane Williamson. X-factor pick – Seth Rance, who has international experience but only 1 wicket in 2 games so far.
