The good thing about the 2020 St Lucia T10 League is that we have just 2 games per day unlike the other ECS T10 tournaments which have 4-5 matches lined up every day, clearly confusing fantasy sports lovers. Today, we have two teams in action in Match 5 that have already played a game each in the tournament, o you can refer to old scorecards for help in selecting your fantasy sides.
We have Soufriere Sulphur City Stars in action, a team that scored 90 and lost their opening game (and the league’s opening game too) by 8 wickets. They are up against another team who lost their opening game, falling short by 56 runs in pursuit of 153 – Mabouya Constrictors. Soufriere Sulphur City Stars
Bowling 1.4 overs and opening the batting, Xytus Emmanuel seems to be an important part of this squad and he’s someone I won’t leave out of my SSCS vs MAC fantasy team today because he bagged a duck and went wicketless in the opening game, which means he won’t be a favourite pick. Opening alongside him at the top of the order was Ashley Hippoltye who did well with 30(23) and is a safe pick too today.
We spoke about Dalius Monrose being a vital part of the team too and he will also be a high-value pick today because he only scored 6(13) and didn’t pick a wicket either in his last game. He batted at number #3. Someone who batted way down but smashed 40(17) in the last game was Shani Mesmain who also opened the bowling for them. He may be promoted up the order and is a good fantasy captain pick today.
Mabouya Constrictors
Opening the batting, we had both wicket-keepers in Orey Changoo and Denzel James, both of whom failed with scores of 0 and 7 in the last game. Now in the fantasy leagues, James is a popular pick because he scored more while Changoo bagged a duck. If I had to pick just one wicket-keeper, I’d gamble and go for Changoo but if given the option to pick both, do so because both are opening batsmen.

Batting at number #3, Chard Polius is surely going to be a big contributor to this team. He bowled an expensive over but hit 29 in just 15 balls, so the all-rounder should be in your MyFab11 (Use code “READAD46“) fantasy team today. Murgaran Shoulette batted after him and got 12 with the bat while going wicketless in 2 overs, but what we do know is that here’s a high-exposure player, good for fantasy leagues.
