At the top of the order, Kevin Kasuza took a blow to the head and Brian Mudzinganyama may get a game.
The side is being led by Sean Williams and he has to be picked, being a regular contributor, even though he only got 2 wickets and scores of 18 and 39 in the last game. Another senior player in the squad is Sikandar Raza who scored 41 and 17 and picked 3 wickets. He’s also worthy of being a fantasy team captain or vice-captain. With a last minute back injury, Kyle Jarvis will miss the 2nd Test here at Harare.
Sri Lanka
The side is being captained by Dimuth Karunaratne. Though he only scored 37 and 10* in the last game, he’s got a great record here including 2 fifties and a century in just 2 games prior to that here. He should be picked while I’ll keep Angelo Mathews out of my ZIM vs SL fantasy team. He will be over-popular after that 200* and the fact is that he hasn’t been in great form, also not bowling anymore in international cricket.
I’ll have Suranga Lakmal for sure in my Howzat (sign-up with code “READ1234”) fantasy team as he bagged 4/27 in 20 overs (2nd inns) and 3/55 (1st inns) in the last game, with the Zimbabwe batsmen not having the slightest clue of how to play him. The home team was clearly struggling with pace and that’s why I’ll pick Lahiru Kumara as well, who had 3/32 in his 21 overs in the 2nd innings and 2/82 in the 1st innings of that game.
