He’s going to be expensive but don’t even think of leaving AB de Villiers out of your EAG vs KIN vs KIT fantasy team because he’s a genius and he tends to do well in such games, where players are playing for a cause and not just for money and entertainment. A lot of people will look at Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen as another batting pick, but they will be overly popular selections.
Instead, pick someone like Kyle Verreyne who has been amassing a lot of runs in the domestic circuit and recently got called up to the national side as well where he got scores of 48 and 50 in three ODIs against Australia before lockdown struck. On the bowling front, Lungi Ngidi is a good choice as he’s all fired up, right in the middle of the #BlackLivesMatter controversy.
OUTsurance Kingfishers
Chris Morris and captain Kagiso Rabada had to drop out at the last minute due to unforeseen reasons which means Heinrich Klaasen is going to captain the side, but he’s not been my favourite SA batsman, so he won’t make my fantasy side today. Janneman Malan is another player who made his international debut against Australia before COVID-19 struck, and he did well there too, so I’m picking him for sure.

SA captain Faf du Plessis is in the side and he’s undoubtedly the best batsman this team has, so he’s a good bet for your MyFab11 (Use code “READAD46“) fantasy team. However, he hasn’t been in the best of form so if he’s too expensive, you can consider dropping him. With the ball, they have been considerably weakened and a lot will depend on Tabraiz Shamsi because of all his international experience.

The side was supposed to be led by Quinton de Kock but due to unforeseen circumstances on match day, he had to pull out and the side will now be led by Temba Bavuma who has plenty of experience as well. As a replacement in the side of 8 players, they’ve added Ryan Rickelton who has also been performing and knocking on the doors of the national side selectors in recent months!
