Sri Lanka

Over the last couple of years, Dushmantha Chameera has grown as a pacer and while he was wicketless in the last game, he made quite a few Indian batsmen uncomfortable and he’s one of my first picks in today’s SL vs IND 2nd ODI fantasy team. With him, there’s Dhananjaya de Silva who went at nearly 10 runs per over but he got 2 wickets and he bats up the order as well, so you can’t leave him out.

We’re not sure of why Isuru Udana was picked as frontline bowler and then given only 2 overs to bowl. His variations usually help him better in the T20 format and we think he could be dropped for either Lahiru Kumara or Kasun Rajitha. If you want an added batting option for your SL vs IND Dream11 team, there’s Wanindu Hasaranga who is known for his bowling but is likely to come out to bat earlier that you would expect.

India

For India, I’m a little disappointed Manish Pandey gave his wicket away after getting 26 but he’s easily one of the most talented batsmen in the squad and given the opportunity to bat at #4, we don’t want to see him mess it up. India is likely to play an unchanged squad and make changes once they win the series 2-0, so you can expect the Dhawan-Shaw opening partnership and we’ll pick Suryakumar Yadav as well today.
