The BBL 2021/22 schedule had a slight rejig because of Covid-19 cases and squads being affected. Now instead of Brisbane Heat, it’s Perth Scorchers playing today at the 2021/22 Big Bash League and things have been good for them this season, with 7 wins in their 8 games so far. Going into BBL 11 Match 34, they will be playing one of the toughest other teams of the season in Sydney Sixers.
Sixers are second on the BBL 2021/22 points table with 6 wins in their 8 games but they’ve not lost a single of their last 5 games. The best chance for the Scorchers is hoping that the Sixers are rusty since they’ve not played for a few days as their last game was abandoned due to rainy weather. Perth Scorchers
No Josh Inglish and Mitchell Marsh in the side as they’ve gone to represent Australia in the Ashes 2021/22 4th Test but someone like Laurie Evans becomes the designated hitter in the side. We’re picking him in our SCO vs SIX fantasy team because he will be promoted up the order while one of the natural top order batters in good form who we don’t want to leave out either is Kurtis Patterson.
With the ball, there’s obviously a strike bowler in Andrew Tye who picks wickets every time he’s called on to bowl, whether the powerplay or the power surge or the death overs, but we think one of the most unplayable bowlers in this side so far is Tymal Mills. Someone who got wickets in the last game is Peter Hatzoglou but we’re leaving him out of our SCO vs SIX Dream11 team because we think he’s too loose for a leg-spinner sometimes.
Sydney Sixers
Joining the squad once again is James Vince and he slots right in for us, being one of the most prolific run scorers in limited overs domestic cricket in recent years. With a good top order, someone like Moises Henriques may bat too low down the order and we’d rather pick Daniel Hughes as he’s also pretty experienced and had one good fifty this season which showcased his potential in the middle order.

Shadab Khan will continue to be their lead spinner while we don’t want to leave out Daniel Christian as he finds a way to be very effective in BBL games and he’s won me a lot of money in fantasy contests over the years. Recently, he got a 4-fer, a couple of catches, and won them the match with the bat as well, so Sean Abbott is in our MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) SCO vs SIX fantasy team, maybe even as captain or vice-captain.
