We have a major associate nations’ tournament coming up on the women’s cricket calendar. A total of 6 African countries were scheduled to be a part of this competition known as the 2021 Kwibuka Women’s T20 and unfortunately, Uganda Women had to pull out because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Rwanda Women, Botswana Women, Namibia Women, Nigeria Women and Kenya Women are now the 5 participating teams. All matches will be live streamed on Women’s CricZone’s YouTube channel.

It’s a big event for the women’s teams of these countries as they don’t get much of exposure right through the year. In the opening game, we have Rwanda Women in action and they’ll be taking on Botswana Women, with all games having international status. The tournament is being played in a strict bio-bubble and is scheduled between 6-12 June 2021.
