The 2019 Qatar T10 League is finally here and the tournament has been scheduled at the same ground at Doha between 7-16 December 2019. We have 6 games that will battle it out through this competition and we begin with one game on the opening day at 11pm IST, that between Pearl Gladiators and Flying Oryx.
There isn’t much of information available on this league, so it’s better to be cautious for the first round of matches in the 2019 Qatar T10 League. We’re still not sure if Pakistan players will be available especially after they weren’t allowed to play in the Abu Dhabi T10 league last month. Flying Oryx
First person you’d want to pick in your fantasy team is Andre Fletcher because he’s recently back from the T10 League in Abu Dhabi. He’s used to this format now and had a couple of forties followed by a score of 52 in his last game there. Even though he hasn’t had many big scores in recent games, another West Indian who will be a good fantasy pick is Kennar Lewis.
Young Pakistani player Hussain Talat is an exciting talent and he recently played 15 internationals for his country, while also scoring a fifty and hundred for Balochistan in an FC game last month. With the ball, Krishmar Santokie could be another good option even though he hasn’t played much cricket apart from the CPL in the last 2 years. Noman Sarwar, Musawir Khan, Asif Raja, Imran Ashraf, Jassom Khan and Bilal Butt are the local Qatar players.
Pearl Gladiators
Faisal Khan, Khurram Shehzad, Muhammad Nafees, Qalander Khan and Saqlain Arshad will be the local lads. Now 38 years old, Mohammad Sami hasn’t been in the best form but the former Pakistan international player is very experienced and hasn’t cut down much on his pace yet. Former Pakistan opener Sharjeel Khan is in the squad too, having not played a professional game since Feb 2017 because of his spot fixing ban.
Another person who will be in action after many months is Ajantha Mendis and I’m picking the former mystery spinner in my MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy team only because of experience. He’s now improved with the bat and has 4 fifties in the last couple of months. Watch out for Afghanistan’s Karim Sadiq who can bat and bowl both, and also has international experience.
