Opening batsman Faisal Javed is coming off a T20I fifty vs Jersey a couple of months back and 27 in the last game showed he can time the ball well.
Oman all-rounder Mehran Khan is a bits and pieces player with no 30+ score and no wickets in his last 10 games but there’s a lot of his involvement in the game which is why I’ll pick him. Only one bowler from Gladiators picked a wicket in the last game and that was Qatar’s local boy Mohammed Nadeem who bowled brilliantly to end with figures of 1/11 in 2 overs, also having 11 wickets in his last 9 games for Qatar.
Desert Riders
One thing common across both Riders victories so far has been Muhammad Tanveer staying unbeaten when his team got over the line, and he’s one of my first picks today. The next has to be the captain and the most experienced player in this league, Mohammad Hafeez. Even at this age, he knows how to manipulate the field, which he proved in his 45(23) in the last game. Let’s not forget he also has 3 wickets in 2 games so far.
Sohail Tanvir should also be in your My11Circle (Get Rs.500 Bonus*) fantasy team only because of his experience and he already has 3 wickets in 2 games, and can bat when needed too. Another good bowling pick could be Awais Malik who has been very economical so far, though he has just 1 wicket to show for it. With the bat, Adnan Mirza has proved to be a good starter for them with quickfire scores of 23 and 20 so far.
