It’s been a fun couple of days since the start of the 2019 Qatar T10 League. If you are one to place bets on these games, remember to back the side chasing in most cases as all 3 games have been won by the side batting second so far. Now, the second game of today’s double header will be played between Falcon Hunters and Swift Gallopers, at the same pitch in Doha.
Hunters won their game last night thanks to a last ball six from Salman Butt. On the other hand, Gallopers lost their opening game to Desert Riders yesterday, by 7 wickets. There’s more clarity now as both teams have already played a game each. Keep reading for our complete MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy preview of the FAL vs SWI game…

Numbers
- First 3 games of Qatar T10 2019 – all won batting second.
- Babar Hayat scores in last 4 professional games – 0, 9, 27, 0.
- Iqbal Hussain – 18 wickets in last 9 international games for Qatar.
- Zaheer Ibrahim last 5 professional scores – 9, 4*, 0, 27*, 1.
Falcon Hunters
In 10 overs games, you should select all the top order batsmen in your fantasy sides. In this team, the experience is all the top with Hashim Amla and Salman Butt opening the innings. Butt has been in continuous good form and he proved it with 39* last night while Amla only managed 17 and will be hungry for runs tonight. Wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizlan displayed some good hitting in his knock of 24(11).
The side is being led by Qatar captain Iqbal Hussain who has gone wicketless only once in his last 10 professional games and he also has a top score of 39 in that time, so he’s a must have especially after seeing his spell of 1/12 in the last game. Saad bin Zafar was expensive in the last game, picking a wicket but giving away 28 in 2 overs. He can even be picked as a fantasy captain because he’s a pinch hitter batsman too.
Swift Gallopers
Right at the top, I’ll skip an out-of-form Zaheer Ibrahim and select his opening partner Kamran Akmal, who has plenty of Pakistan as well as T20 league experience from around the world, having also scored 29 in the first game. Next in is Qatar’s Inam-ul-Haq who last had a single-digit scores 6 games ago and we can expect some fireworks from him tonight in Doha as well. With 1 T20I century and 1 fifty, Canada’s Ravinderpal Singh should also be picked.
The benefits of having both Singh and Haq in your MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy team is that they can both bowl as well, picking a wicket apiece in the last game. Another bowler to watch out for is Sufyan Mehmood who has played a few internationals for Oman. He doesn’t have much to his name but it was a pleasure to watch his spell of 1/12 in 2 overs in the last game for Gallopers.
