Pakistan U-19 Tour of Sri Lanka 2019 – 5th ODI Fantasy Preview

While everyone’s focus is on the ICC 2019 World Cup in England and Wales, there’s some other cricketing action also taking place as Pakistan U-19 is touring Sri Lanka U-19 for a series of 5 ODIs between 26 May and 5 June 2019. Four of these games are already done with the tourists winning 3-1 after losing the first game. Now, there’s nothing but pride at stake for the home team as they prepare for the 5th Youth ODI at the same ground in Hambantota.

With the series already having a result, both teams might want to test their bench strength so be careful while selecting your team, and keep an eye out for the teams at the toss. With fewer people playing fantasy cricket for these youth ODIs, your chances of winning big increases. Sri Lanka U-19

Ensure you don’t pick Sudeera Thilakaratne who has 5 wickets in 2 games this series, but he hasn’t played the next two games. Dilshan Madushanka also has 5 wickets this series but was dropped for the last game. Instead, pick Rohan Sanjaya who has only 3 wickets in 3 games but he is one of the best bowlers in the Sri Lanka youth camp and has been brilliant this series, with an economy rate of just 4.53 so far. He could be your x-factor player.

Kamila Mishara has been good with 155 runs in 4 games including 2 fifties. If you are playing on Dream11 where you are allowed multiple wicket-keepers, pick him. Or else, take a gamble and skip him. Thaveesha Kahaduwaarachchi scored 64 in the 4th ODI, being his only game this series and he’s definitely one of the first names on my team sheet.

Pakistan U-19

Don’t forget to pick this man, or should we say boy – Rohail Nazir. He is the most prolific run scorer this series and along with Haider Ali, the duo has amassed over 480 runs together in 4 games. If playing a one on one contest, pick both these two in your Dotball (Sign-up here) fantasy team. If grand league, take a chance and drop Ali for another player who hasn’t done as well this series. Both batsmen have 3 fifties each this series.

Mohammad Taha is a good choice for your vice-captain in this 5th and final youth ODI. He may have only scored 68 runs with a best of 36 and picked only 4 wickets, but his involvement in the game is great and that increases your chances of bagging fantasy points. With the ball, pick Junaid Khan. No, he’s not the one who narrowly missed World Cup selection but by the looks of it, he can be as good in the years to come.
