Sri Lanka decided to make the tour to Pakistan after more than a decade and we’ve got to see some entertaining cricket so far, even though Sri Lanka hasn’t sent across their best squad. The ODI series recently concluded in Karachi and after one game was washed out, the hosts Pakistan won the next couple of games and wrapped up the ODI series. He will open alongside Fakhar Zaman who was the only player in the ODI series to have scored 2 fifties (in 2 games), so I’ll pick both these batsmen in my fantasy side. Umar Akmal is also back in the squad and will bat in the middle order.
Usman Shinwari was the top wicket-taker in the ODI series, with 6 wickets in 2 games including 5/50 in the 2nd ODI. Prior to that, he picked up 4 wickets in his last international game against Australia too. Mohammad Amir was the next best with 4 wickets and his 3-fer in the 3rd ODI was brilliant too. Remember, he also has 4/13 in his only previous T20I here in 2017. They will also have Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Hasnain available in the bowling attack.
Sri Lanka
Pick captain Dasun Shanaka in your fantasy team for sure. He scored 68 and 43 in his two games in the ODI series and also has 54 in his only previous T20 at this ground. Avishka Fernando is another good option with the bat, who failed with scores of 4 and 0 in the ODIs, which means there won’t be too many fantasy teams picking him. Another all-round option is Shehan Jayasuriya who had 99 runs and 1 wickets in 2 games.
